Question 1

Is the Suzuki Ertiga suitable for large families in the UAE?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the 2023 Suzuki Ertiga 1.5 GL is an excellent choice for small to medium large families in the UAE. It comes with a flexible 7-seat layout that can accommodate 5 adults with extra cargo, or 7 passengers for shorter trips, which fits most family needs for school runs, grocery shopping, and weekend getaways. The compact footprint makes it easy to park in tight Dubai mall parking lots and residential areas, while the efficient engine keeps fuel and maintenance costs low, a major benefit for family budgets. Third-row access is easy via folding second-row seats, and the flexible seating lets you expand cargo space for road trips or large purchases.

Question 2

What is the fuel economy of this 2023 Ertiga in UAE conditions?

Accepted Answer

This 1.5L 2023 Suzuki Ertiga delivers very competitive fuel economy for a 7-seat MPV, averaging around 6.2 L/100km in combined city and highway driving in the UAE. In stop-and-go Dubai city traffic, you can expect roughly 7 L/100km, while steady highway cruising at 120 km/h drops to around 5.8 L/100km. This efficiency makes it far more cost-effective to run than larger 7-seat SUVs, which is a big advantage with current UAE fuel prices. The 45-liter fuel tank gives it a range of over 700 km on a single tank, enough for a round trip from Dubai to Al Ain without refueling.

Question 3

What is the maintenance cost for a Suzuki Ertiga in the UAE?

Accepted Answer

Maintenance costs for the Suzuki Ertiga are very low compared to other 7-seat vehicles in the UAE, which is one of its biggest selling points. Routine service intervals every 10,000 km typically cost between 300 AED and 500 AED for basic oil and filter changes, with major scheduled services at 50,000 km costing under 1,200 AED. Suzuki has a widespread network of service centers across the UAE, and spare parts are widely available and affordable, thanks to Suzuki’s strong local presence. There are no common expensive issues reported for this generation Ertiga, so long-term maintenance costs remain very budget-friendly.

Question 4

Does this Ertiga come with GCC specs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this 2023 Suzuki Ertiga 1.5 GL is a GCC specs vehicle, which is the preferred specification for UAE buyers. GCC spec vehicles are built to handle the extreme heat and dusty conditions of the Middle East, with upgraded cooling systems and materials that resist UV fading better than imported grey market vehicles. GCC spec Suzuki vehicles also qualify for official manufacturer warranty support through local Suzuki dealers, and parts are guaranteed to fit correctly. Resale value for GCC spec Ertigas is also consistently higher than non-GCC imported models in the UAE used car market.

Question 5

How much cargo space does the 2023 Ertiga have?

Accepted Answer

The 2023 Suzuki Ertiga offers flexible cargo space that adapts to your needs. With all three rows of seats in use, you get around 135 liters of cargo space, enough for a few grocery bags or carry-on luggage for a short trip. If you fold the third row flat, cargo space expands to 550 liters, which can accommodate multiple large suitcases or strollers for a family road trip. Folding both the second and third rows gives you up to 1,100 liters of cargo space, enough for large items like furniture or camping gear. The 60:40 split second row lets you mix seating and cargo space to match your specific needs.
