Question 1

Is this Dodge Charger Scatpack reliable for daily driving in the UAE?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this 2020 Dodge Charger 6.4L Scatpack is very reliable for daily driving in the UAE when properly maintained. The 6.4L Hemi V8 engine is a proven, robust powerplant that handles the UAE’s hot climate well with a properly serviced cooling system. Routine maintenance, including oil changes every 5,000 to 7,500 km and annual cooling system flushes, will keep the vehicle running smoothly for hundreds of thousands of kilometers. While fuel costs are higher than smaller sedans, the drivetrain and core components are engineered for regular use, not just occasional performance driving.

Question 2

What is the typical service interval for this model?

Accepted Answer

Dodge recommends service every 5,000 km for basic oil and filter changes, with major services rotating every 10,000 km, 30,000 km, 60,000 km, and 100,000 km. In the UAE’s hot dusty climate, more frequent oil changes and air filter replacements are recommended to keep the engine and cabin air clean. Major 100,000 km service includes spark plug replacement, transmission fluid flush, and cooling system service, with total costs typically between 2,500 to 4,000 AED at certified dealerships.

Question 3

Does this come with GCC specification?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this 2020 Dodge Charger R/T Scatpack is a GCC specification vehicle, meant for the UAE market. GCC spec vehicles are engineered to handle the region’s extreme hot temperatures and dusty conditions, with adjusted cooling system performance and higher quality climate control components than import models from colder regions. They also come with factory warranty eligibility when new and comply with all UAE emissions and road safety standards, making registration and insurance straightforward.

Question 4

How much space does the Charger have for passengers and luggage?

Accepted Answer

As a full-size four-door sedan, the Dodge Charger offers very generous space for both passengers and luggage. It seats five adults comfortably, with over 100 cm of rear legroom, enough for even tall passengers to ride comfortably on long trips. The trunk offers 467 liters of cargo space, enough to fit multiple large suitcases for road trips or weekly grocery shopping in the UAE, with the option to fold the rear seats for larger items if needed.

Question 5

What is the acceleration and top speed of this Scatpack model?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 Dodge Charger 6.4L R/T Scatpack accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, with a factory rated top speed of 315 km/h. This makes it one of the fastest production four-door sedans available on the UAE market, with linear power delivery throughout the rev range that makes overtaking on highways effortless. The 8-speed automatic transmission is tuned to deliver quick downshifts for performance driving when needed, while remaining smooth for relaxed cruising.
